Three guarantees. One project. Here is what stands behind the work when VIP Services remodels your home, and what to ask for in writing before you sign.
When you compare remodeling contractors, the price and the design usually get all of the attention. What happens after the crew packs up matters just as much. For over 25 years, VIP Services has backed its remodeling projects with the same three protections: a 3-Year Workmanship Warranty, a 1-Year Touch-Up Guarantee and a lien waiver.
This page explains what each one is for, how they fit together and what you should ask to see in writing before your project begins. Because you work with one accountable team, one contract and one point of contact, you never have to guess which supplier or trade to call when you have a question about our work. You call us.
Our 3-Year Workmanship Warranty is about the quality of the work our team performs in your home. We confidently stand by what we build, and we are here to support you if an issue with our workmanship comes up.
Workmanship means how the job was done: how tile was set, how trim and cabinetry were installed, how fixtures were connected and how surfaces were finished. If something we installed is not holding up the way it should during the warranty period, call our office. We would much rather hear about a concern early than have you live with it.
The specific terms of the warranty, including what is and is not covered, belong in your written paperwork. We encourage every homeowner to ask for the warranty details in writing and to read them before signing. If any part is unclear, ask us at your estimate meeting and we will walk through it with you.
Even the most careful households end up with a scuff on new paint or a small scratch on fresh trim once furniture moves back in and daily life resumes. Our 1-Year Touch-Up Guarantee covers minor scratches and wear-and-tear during the first year after your project.
We also make it easy to remember. As your project anniversary approaches, we send you a reminder so you can put together a short list of the touch-ups you would like us to take care of. Most homeowners never think about this kind of follow-up until they need it, so we build it into the project from the start.
A lien waiver is a document that protects you from paying twice for the same work. In remodeling, an unpaid supplier or trade can sometimes pursue a claim against a property even after the homeowner has paid the contractor in full. A lien waiver is your written confirmation that the work you paid for is settled.
You receive a lien waiver from VIP Services once the work is done. It is one of the least exciting pieces of paper in a remodel and one of the most important. If you are comparing contractors, ask each of them whether they provide one.
The best warranty call is the one you never have to make. That is why the protection starts long before the final walkthrough:
You can read every step, from the first meeting to the final walkthrough, on our remodeling process page. Answers to other common questions are on our FAQ page.

It covers the workmanship our team performs on your remodel for three years after the work. The exact terms and any exclusions should be in writing with your project paperwork, so ask us for them and review them before you sign.
For one year after your project, we cover minor scratches and wear-and-tear touch-ups. We send you a reminder as your project anniversary approaches so you have time to note anything you would like us to touch up.
A lien waiver is written proof that the work you paid for is settled, so you are protected from paying twice for the same work. VIP Services provides it once the work is done.
Our warranty is a workmanship warranty, which is about how the work was done. Coverage for specific products such as fixtures, appliances or materials can be different, so ask us to put the details for your products in writing before your project starts.
